This piece represents a milestone in the artist's journey of working with a variety of materials and techniques. The process was named "Deco-Plex" and was patented in 1985 by the artist.
The technique was used to produce many works, eventually the material was formed with heat and molded into three dimensional objects, sometimes attached to backgrounds.
